We are considering bidding as a Prime or quoting as a Sub on the above call numbers in the upcoming WisDOT Letting that you may be looking to submit sub quotes on.

 

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) has established a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program in accordance with regulations of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), 49 CFR Part 26.The WisDOT receives federal financial assistance from the United States Department of Transportation, and as a condition of receiving this assistance, the WisDOT makes a requirement that a percentage of each contract with DOT funding shall be contracted with DBE firms.

We are strongly encouraging you to utilize DBEs in your quote. This can be accomplished through purchasing materials from DBE suppliers, utilizing DBE subcontractors, trucking, etc. Your quote may be evaluated on a combination of both the lowest cost and the amount of DBE participation you are able to provide as well as being low.
