About Us
Founded in 1952 and incorporated in 1960 by two brothers, Robert and Alan, Pheifer focused originally on residential construction until Courtney and Plummer asked them to construct a bridge on STH 21 in Omro. That bridge would go on to win the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) structure of the year award. Bob and Al continued to build bridges throughout the state until their retirements 35+ years later.
Well into the third generation, Al's grandson Ryan serves as sole owner and President. Pheifer continues to construct structures throughout the state of Wisconsin.
Since our founding in 1952, to now, we’ve wanted Pheifer to be different from other companies.
Different in how we treat one another, different in how we work with each other, and different in the results we achieve. These differences are best captured in the 27 “Foundations” our unique culture is built upon. They are found below.
We call it, The Pheifer Way
